Varying Odor Concentrations

With over eight titling Scent Work organizations in the United States alone, there is bound to be variations in how trials are set-up and run. This also includes how the odor itself is prepared and the amount of concentration a dog will have to find. In this course, we will help our dogs be successful in working out search areas with varying amounts of odor concentration, to better help them be prepared regardless of where they go to play!

Course Details

There is a big difference between having two drops of a target odor oil placed within a canning jar filled with Q-tip halves, and placing those two drops directly onto a single Q-tip! As trainers and handlers, it is our duty to best prepare our dogs for what they may see at trial. In that vein, this course contains games and set-ups to help your dog work through the search elements regardless of whether there is a low- or high-concentration of odor present.
